Linda Ibrahim

Linda J. Ibrahim serves as the Vice President of Tax & Governmental Compliance at Vantage Drilling. Linda has over twenty-two years of public accounting and international tax experience with a focus on the energy industry. At Vantage, she manages a team of professionals, develops the company’s tax strategy in over 25 countries and is responsible for the compliance coordination in several areas of law. While most of her time is spent in the corporate office, Linda relishes the opportunity to go offshore or visit field offices where all of the excitement and difficult work take place. 

Linda is especially passionate about education and advancement of women; thus, through her involvement with the Greater Houston Women’s Chamber of Commerce, a nonprofit, she volunteers on several educational advancement programs that benefit young girls. Linda also serves on the Board of Directors for Ovarcome, a nonprofit that focuses on raising global awareness, to fund research in search of cures, and to provide financial support to underprivileged women in their valiant fight against ovarian cancer. 

Linda is an advocate for decreasing the gender gap in the workplace. She serves as a Mentor at and a member of the Board of Directors of Lean In Energy and she is involved in the organization for several reasons. First, she is female and gender inequality is a personal issue that affects her. Second, she feels a sense of responsibility to help her female colleagues and employees have successful careers as they face these and other challenges. Most importantly, she does it for her daughters for whom she desires equal opportunity to reach their career goals.

Linda is married to the love of her life, Hassan, and has two daughters, Caroline and Leila. Linda and her family enjoy travelling and they often do so with extended family and friends.
