Kym Butler is a results-driven leader overseeing marketing and communications at Symmetry Energy Solutions. She is responsible for developing and executing impactful programs that effectively educate, engage, and inform internal and external stakeholders.

With over 25 years of experience in marketing and communications, Kym has a proven track record across multiple industries, including agro-processing, manufacturing, and energy. She has successfully led initiatives integrating traditional and digital marketing strategies to drive business outcomes.

Kym’s career began in export development before evolving into prominent marketing and communications roles with leading companies, including Sempra Infrastructure, Wood Group, Foster Wheeler (now Wood Group), and Cameron (now SLB).

Kym enjoys volunteering and is deeply committed to community service. She is the Communications Director for Lean In Network Energy, Vice President of the Dominica Houston Association, and Child Advocate Ad Litem, reflecting her dedication to empowering others and creating meaningful impact.

Kym holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Texas Southern University and a Master of Science in International Marketing Management from the University of East London. Originally from the island of Dominica, Kym lives in Houston with her daughter and family.
